On Wednesday 20th of April, two of my mates, Daniel, Brad and I set out to town, embarking on a quest that involved us having to go around Wellington, recording with our own camera equipment and asking strangers what their opinion is on the growing issue of the overconsumption of fast food in New Zealand. We met up at Wellington Station and went to a nearby macca’s to plan which was ironic. The three of us wanted to interview people in three different locations (Te-papa, Cuba and Manners Street) and collect their opinions on our proposed idea.

We ventured out to those locations but with no success. Every single stranger we conversed with either ignored us or did not want to be a part of our social experiment. And so we gave up the entire plan and filmed a normal vlog instead of us walking around Central Wellington , recording ourselves doing small little skits and shenanigans. We went around Cuba Street asking people with headphones on, what song they were listening to. Surprisingly almost every person we encountered shared and conversed with us their tunes they were listening to, varying from jazz, NY drill, 2000 hits, etc. It was very fun and exciting talking to them and I guess we found out that day that if you wanted to set up a conversation, start with an interesting topic, like music.
