ANDRE DAPITAN
Hey There
My Name is Andre Dapitan, I also go by the nickname "Dre" on all of my social media accounts . I was born and raised in the Philippines but at the age of 8, my family and I moved to New Zealand.
All About Me
At a young age, I was very interested with cameras, movies and online videos. One day, I was introduced to the movies transformers and avatar. Immediately I was in awe of how visually stunning both the films were. I began creating dozens of short clips with my Lego toys and my dad's old flip phone camera, observing and recreating scenes from previous films. Since then I have developed my passion for Video editing and videography.
I was heavily influenced by horror, thriller, action and family movies. My love for film broadened after watching films such as Cargo (2016), Cars trilogy, The fast and the furious film series and Avatar (2009).
My hobbies include filming, video editing, playing basketball, fitness. I really enjoy watching NBA games, especially when Lebron James is on the court. 🏀 🏀
